For some reason, throughout my childhood and adolescence I've been under the impression that I had/have a good immune system. But I think over the last couple years I have officially been disillusioned and then some.

I have blamed my frequent colds on flights and touring, but I don't think either of them are solely responsible.

The particular bug I have at present is, believe it or not, kinda fun ... at least so far as colds go. Instead of the usual exchange of voice for shivers and chills, this week I have something more akin to the mild colds I remember getting when I was a kid. ...The ones in which the greatest inconvenience was maybe making you switch to your second-favorite sleeping side if the corresponding nostril was a bit less stuffy.

Yes, those colds are a treat compared to what I consider to be the grown-up variety. So here I sit on the couch in the control room of the studio, with my Kleenex box at my right hand and some room-temperature tea to my left.

Well, actually, the tea is in front of me.

We're back in the studio now, whittling away at harmony parts and little treats here and there. . . . Whittling away.

PS - It did eventually stop raining.
