The tour is on! Tonight is our second show of the year. Last night went surprisingly well. We were there on most of the arrangements, and can already feel ourselves become more comfortable with the new material. We're also playing some older material - album cuts we had never before arranged for performances. So that's been fun, familiar and refreshing.

We spent 4 days rehearsing in Nashville just before loading up into the bus and yesterday, the first day out, sort of felt like a dream to me. I'm not sure how to explain it.

...you know how you feel when you've overslept and have to take a little more time in getting your day started? You're not groggy, everything just requires a little more thought until your brain warms up. That's kind of how it felt to me. I had to go through the motions of a day in the bus before it felt natural again. Today - I'm fine.

It's about an hour and a half before our show tonight in Tuscaloosa and I want to practice some tunes with a metronome so I'd better go.
