Feb 5 2004 • Back to work ... trying to earn our keep as a band. Hello everyone! I hope you've had a nice winter so far. Though not so much with each other, Sean, Chris and I have kept super busy playing, recording and working with other friends, attending concerts and just having fun. Now we are phasing those extra things out as we turn our focus to working toward a new record. A few days ago Sean and I drove up to visit Chris and see his new place in San Francisco. We're working solid days -- sharing songs, writing, rewriting, and laughing. So far, after dinner every night we've watched an episode or two from The Office and the second season of Alias on DVD. We are all in desperate need of hair cuts. It's getting bad. Not as bad, however, as the mockery I face at this very moment from my musical compadres for ten things at once ...the two of them together are merciless ... and hilarious. Chris, straddling a small bean bag ottoman, has just eaten
the last of the Nutella out of the jar and Sean is just across from me
on the couch in the outset window over the moss covered sidewalk of a
pretty steep street. This is a beautiful city. Clean air and great coffee.
