Sean and Sara Tour with Blind Boys

Sean and Sara Watkins are special guests for a string of dates this fall with the legendary gospel/blues band, The Blind Boys of Alabama.

They also collaborate with the Blind Boys on several songs.

Sara Watkins and the Blind Boys first performed together last year in a sold-out show at New York City’s Lincoln Center, and both artists felt a musical connection on which they wanted to build.

Sara said, “I have been a fan of the Blind Boys of Alabama since I first heard them 15 or 20 years ago, but I’ll never forget the first time I found myself on stage singing with them. I was struck by the force they have - the power in their singing is real."
